Foothills flyers. They are having a fly in on September 20 information is below
Foothills Flyers annual Fly-In on Sept 20, gates open at 8:00, till ???
They have decided to invite other RC clubs found from a 25-mile radius search on the AMA site.
We have made some improvements this year, including widening our gate and upgrading our driveway. Visit our web site at www.foothillflyers.net for pictures.
We decided to add "Swap Meet" to our festivities to see how that goes. It'll just be a casual addition. No tables or extra fee.
We welcome you to join us and would appreciate you keeping us informed of your future events!

Weather Prediction for Flying
Each Saturday morning from 9am to 12 noon we have 1 or more RC instructors at the field to work with new RC pilots.
We use Aero Scout aircraft that the club has should the student not have an aircraft of his own.
We will have the buddy box setup, (which allows the instructor to correct problems should they occur). The transmitters used are also the property of the instructor and are Spektrum brand.
We will have an RC simulator on site for first time students to learn the basics if we have advanced notification that it is needed.
We can work with you if you have your own aircraft and radio, but ours are good stable flyers.
If you are interested in flying and do not have an RC airplane or radio, we can let you try and fly our plane on a "Buddy Box" trainer connected to an instructor.
Flight training will be held on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm, weather permitting.
